A New Venture in Mississauga, ON

Partnered with Sheridan Park Family Church, Árbol de Vida (Tree of Life) New Venture emerged out of a desire to focus on discipleship and evangelism through creative arts. Led by Santiago Benavides, this New Venture has the vision of growing God's people through music, preaching and relational discipleship, so that by the Holy Spirit, many will be transformed and live to proclaim the good news of Jesus. Their initial ministries will be focused on, but not limited to, immigrant families through a weekly gathering at Sheridan Park Family Church.

The vision for their services has been shaped by experiences that Santiago and his wife have had over the last couple of decades. Particularly, they’ve felt called to focus on these key areas:

1) Music: Since 2000, Santiago has shared the Gospel worldwide through music, and aims to continue this in Canada.

2) Preaching: Believing in the power of anointed preaching and personally strengthened by preaching they have heard, they seek to share the word of God with many.

3) Discipleship: Passionately guiding young people spiritually in Canada, fostering deep connections and growth.

4) The Church: Experiencing renewed faith and love for the church community in Canada.

5) Missions and service: Committed to serving marginalised communities, inspired by experiences in Colombia and Northern Ontario.

Santiago and the team continue to surrender their plans, as they seek to serve and honour God as they lead.
