an emerging community in Muskoka, ON

Having experienced the challenges of trauma in her own family, Christina MacBean knew that she wanted to be part of bringing hope to people with similar stories. She has spent the last two years as a New Venture Apprentice and now, Butterfly Way Muskoka is emerging as a New Venture bringing hope, wholeness, and restoration in the name of Jesus.

Butterfly Way Muskoka is focused on coming alongside individuals and families who have experienced trauma by offering them respite in a supportive and loving environment. By incorporating nature, animals, and art-making the goal is to help restore calm and begin the process of healing. Through a miraculous series of events, Christina and her husband Mike were able to purchase 11 acres of property near Huntsville, ON in 2020. They will be building a bunkie and an art studio in summer 2022 as part of Butterfly Way.
