Who is New Ventures?

Hello, it’s nice to meet you! We are New Ventures of The Alliance Canada.

The Alliance has always been a missional movement with the longing to bring the life-changing message of Jesus to people around the world.

In the late 2000s, Alliance leaders recognized that in addition to strategically sending people on mission overseas, it was important to recognize the people God had placed here in Canada. Over the years, Alliance leaders have responded to the unique mission field of Canada through identifying and meeting needs, introducing new models of churches, and creating a space for new Canadians. This model and desire for missional engagement in Canada has become known as “New Ventures.”

Today, New Ventures walks alongside churches and individuals who want to join in what Jesus is doing in Canada. Whether you are a church leader who wants to plant a new congregation to love immigrants in your neighbourhood, or you are moved to start something new to reach local international students, we provide an environment in which you can discern next steps, develop partnerships, and grow as a leader.
